The Wolf Cry Singers
A women's hand drum group from Massachusetts. Their songs and chants include traditional and contemporary from the Mi'kMaq, Cherokee, Navajo, Abenaki and Delaware. They also write their our own songs that are in English and are continually adding songs in the different languages as they are shared with them. They have performed at pow wows throughout New England and in Canada, ceremonies, and many cultural events promoting Native American awareness. Hawk Henries
Hawk is a flute maker / player, and member of the Nipmuc Nation.
Much of Hawk's time is spent sharing information about life and, more specifically, inspiring each person to be in touch with their own Sacredness. The flutes have always been a powerful vehicle for this sharing. Hawk is scheduled to play on SATURDAY only however will be available both days to speak with and offer his flutes and recorded music for purchase. Hawk's flute music is also featured on the documentary, "Wabanaki, A New Dawn", broadcast on PBS. |

Tom Obomsawin
Tom's genres include jazz, pop, rock, and R&B. He has performed with Carlos Santana, Elvin Bishop, and Freddy King, among others. Tom is an Odanak Abenaki contemporary singer and multi-instrumentalist who has performed throughout the U.S. and Canada. Outside of his musical career, he been involved in efforts to address environmental threats that endanger the traditional Abenaki homelands. SUNDAY only |
